Swamp Drake is a Tier 3 () Unit of the Nature faction. This common card was released with the Twilight Edition and has no affinity variants, but a promo version.
In Skylords Reborn this card is available to all players as a starter card.

This card has been changed already, compared to its original appearance in BattleForge.

Swamp Drakes are one of the more common cards to see in Skylords Reborn. They are highly versatile, compliment many decks, and are very effective for hit and run attacks.

Lore

Legend

Back in the days, when I was merely famous for my profound studies of animal behavior, the Elder of the Shale had me summoned to his castle. Three summers ago, the Shale had suffered under a terrible locust plague. It was confined by dropping wagonloads of grimtoads onto the fields, but, as you can imagine, this mass of toads soon lured hundreds of common longhair toaddrills. To control this new threat, the Elder ordered the capture of a swamp drake. Sure, the toaddrills were soon gone, but the drake stayed and starting feasting on the horses. Now I was asked how to get rid of the drake. Come winter, the drake would have migrated into warmer regions. However, I was in a joking mood and told him that it had no enemies apart from gods and fire dragons. I soon learned that the Elder was not a man of prayer.

Notes & Strategies

Swamp Drakes, like most cards; are strongest in groups. However, a single Swamp Drake can still sufficiently crowd control an enemy group.

Campaign PvE

Swamp Drakes are effective in most campaign scenarios, and are key in some expert runs.

Random PvE

Swamp Drakes are usually not needed in RPvE as T3 is usually limited to buildings/spells as opposed to units.
