This patch went live on 28 October 2023 and is the tenth patch that contains major balancing changes.[1]

General Changes
  • Adjusted the ordering of cosmetics. They will now be ordered by:
    • the Legacy avatars (purchasable with gold) and then achievement avatars.
    • the cosmetic unlocking description.

General Fixes
  • Fixed an issue that prevented ground units from opening gold chests while in combat.
  • Fixed an issue in the cosmetics paging logic that caused entries to be displayed twice in some cases.
  • Fixed replays displaying the wrong date and time in the replay selection menu.

General Changes[]

  • Increased the deck limit from 100 decks to 500 decks.
    • The new maximum now also includes the Tutorial deck and free PvP decks.
    • Added a notification about possible performance issues if a player has 100 or more decks.
  • Added a notification when attempting to queue up with a deck level below 100 in ranked PvP (Dueling Grounds) to check out free PvP decks instead.
  • Added higher resolution textures for various Flightblocking objects.
  • Added tracking of completed scenario goals to the replay files.
  • Renamed the automatic selection of a forge theme from Seasonal to Featured. Forge themes are featured by default as follows:
    • The Forge Minimap Winter Theme Winter: 01 December - 29 February
    • The Forge Minimap Spring Theme Spring: 01 March - 31 May
    • The Forge Minimap Fire Theme Fire: 01 June - 30 November
  • Added forge theme preview images on hover over the theme selection menu.
  • Changed the game's file system logic to use UTF-8 paths for enhanced support.

Achievement Changes[]

  • Added filters to the profile comparison window for sorting by achievement group, achievement type, and locked achievements.
  • Corrected missing values in achievement descriptions in the profile comparison section.
  • A Wrinkle in Time Achievement Icon A Wrinkle in Time:
    • Corrected description to be more accurate in French.
  • Corporate Downsizing Achievement Icon Corporate Downsizing:
    • Added two additional tiers, which require winning a total of 5 / 10 different campaign scenarios on expert difficulty with each player's deck containing no more than 5 cards.
      • Tier 1 rewards the new cosmetic portrait Cosmetic Portrait Glorious Gold.
        • Besides the name, identical to the formerly rewarded cosmetic portrait Cosmetic Portrait Gold.

  • Happy Halloween! Achievement Icon Happy Halloween!:
    • Added this new seasonal achievement, which requires winning the PvE community map Spooky Encounters on expert difficulty during the week of Halloween to unlock the unique cosmetic portrait Cosmetic Portrait Halloween Pumpkin and get an additional Lost Souls Booster Pack HD Lost Souls Booster Pack.
  • Never Thought of Him Achievement Icon Never Thought of Him:
    • Now additionally rewards the forge theme Forge Theme Fire.
      • Reward is retroactively given out to players who already have the achievement completed.
  • Outsourced Content Achievement Icon Outsourced Content:
    • Fixed an issue where the same map sometimes counted multiple times towards the achievement.
    • Fixed the tooltip to correctly display the required number of maps from 10 to 8.

General Fixes[]

  • Repositioned the Show Upgrades-button in the campaign scenario setup window to create more space between it and the game creation button below.
  • Fixed an issue with the brown background when clicking on a leaderboard entry in 2-player scenarios.
  • Fixed an issue with leaderboard filters no longer caching the last selection within the dropdown menus.
  • Flying units are now again properly restricted from opening gold chests.
  • Fixed an issue with position updating when teleporting non-building structures like Monument Entity Icon Monuments, Power Well Entity Icon Power Wells or Fortification Wall Entity Icon Fortification Walls via map scripts.
  • Resolved issues with the type filter not functioning properly in the profile comparison section.
  • Chat commands in the chat menu will remain visible when switching chat regions.

Community Map Fixes[]

  • Removed misleading error messages that appeared after downloading a community map when joining an open game.
  • Resolved issues related to rapidly switching between community map entries which affected the minimap loading.
  • Private community maps will now be deleted after 3 hours instead of 24 hours.
  • Downloaded community maps will now properly replace older map versions on the player's local file system.
  • The Local map type filter now displays all locally available community maps, including those downloaded but already on the server.
  • Fixed an issue of daily quests not progressing when playing featured community maps.
  • Resolved inaccuracies in the text for hardcoded local community maps.

    • Is able to repeat the root network and bridge a distance of up to 40m between entities connected to it. Those entities may then support each other even across wide distances, although the building itself does not grant any additional support.
