Glacial Shot
Autocast: Every 2 seconds, tower shoots snowy balls that deal 72 damage to enemies in a 8m radius around its target, up to 108 in total.
Infused Trench
Power Cost: 50
Affinity Dependency: Fire
Active: Activate to entrench small and medium friendly units within a 20m radius. Entrenched units take 100% less damage and additionally deal 10 / 15 / 15 / 20% more damage. Lasts for 20 seconds. Reusable every 30 seconds. Affects ground targets only.

When active, this effect not only provides total damage immunity to any Small and Medium unit, but also increases the damage they deal. This synergizes very strongly with other early game frost units which tend to have below average attack power.

When active, this effect not only provides total damage immunity to any Small and Medium unit, but also reduces the damage the tower receives from enemies. Very beneficial if enemies are sieging the tower itself while your units try to fend them off.

Notes & Strategies

The Northern Keep, as a standalone tower, is capable of fending off weaker opponents, but its strength is mainly derived from its combination with units, as the hostile forces will waste their damage on the now invulnerable frontline units. The tower is mainly used in the early to middle stages of the game, when most of a player's units are still S and M-sized, as the aura only benefits those.
