In Skylords Reborn players can complete achievements in order to get many different types of rewards like Cards, Booster Packs, or Gold as part of the Progression System. After account creation the achievement system is accessible to players in the Forge.
Types of Achievements[]
There are different types of achievements present in the game. They differ by the number of times they can be completed and how the reward and requirements change.
- Finiteness
The sorting filters in the achievements window, sort every achievement into one of two categories, namely One Time and Endless. Since this differentiation is not perfectly accurate, achievements below are labeled in a different way:
- One Time: These can be completed only once and only reward a single time.
- Finite: These have multiple milestones, mostly custom set requirements and rewards, but eventually, come to an end.
- Endless: These have no set final milestone and thus can be completed an infinite number of times.
- Repeatable: These have a repeating milestone, but can only be completed once within a set period of time.
- Progression
Achievement progression from the previous milestones is always retained for the next milestone.
This means, if the first milestone of an achievement were to acquire 1 unit, and the second milestone the acquisition of 2 units, then the player would retain the already acquired first unit from the first milestone and thus only needs to acquire 1 additional unit to complete the second milestone.
There are 3 types of how rewards and requirements progress:
- Custom: Here progression of rewards and requirements is not following the same system. This primarily applies to one-time and finite achievements, as their rewards are often non-numerical and do not have mathematically comparable steps between milestones.
- Linear: Every fixed amount of steps a milestone is reached and the exact same numerical reward is granted.
- Progressive: The number of steps required to reach the next milestone increases each time the achievement is completed and a numerical reward is granted.
- The requirements always have the following sequence of steps (units) defining a milestone:
2, 5, 10, 20, 35, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000, 4000, 5000, 7500, 10000
- An achievement's reward always has a defined base reward value b which completion of a single step would yield.
- As a formula, the reward of the current milestone for such achievements always equals:
(<steps for current milestone> - <steps for previous milestone>)*b
- Example: The Path of Flame rewards 100 for reaching the first milestone. From the table above we can see that the first milestone has 2 steps. Hence the reward per step is 50. From that, it can be calculated, that the reward for the second milestone that requires 5 steps in total, must be 150, as one would already be at 2 steps when unlocking the second milestone.
- The requirements always have the following sequence of steps (units) defining a milestone:
- Gamemode Eligibility
- Achievements can be completed in PvE, Battlegrounds (RPvE) and Player vs Player (PvP).
- Besides seasonal achievements, non-featured Community Maps are excluded, as they allow too easy completion of the requirements.
- Some achievements have further specifications in their description, restricting them to fewer game modes or ranked gameplay only.
- Completion
Upon fulfilling the requirements for completion of an achievement, a player gets the reward per mail stating the achievements name in the subject and the following message:
The people of Nyn value your great service and reward you for your achievements!
For the seasonal christmas achievement the player gets this message instead:

- Improved the descriptions of various achievements to be more consistent:
- Community Maps now provide overtime gold rewards. Featured community maps now also count towards daily quests and certain achievements.
- Added the option to compare achievement progression with other players by opening up the new Profile Comparison window.
- By default, only players added to the own friend list can view one's profile.
- In the options menu, the profile visibility can be further opened up or restricted.
